At 11 years old, I saw my first snow painting in a book. I couldn't believe how many colors the artist used to represent snow which we all "know" is white. After seeing that painting, I paid really close attention every time it snowed and realized that snow takes on a multitude of colors depending on the light that hits it.
First Snow is literally the first snow painting I have attempted. I'm looking forward to doing more of them this winter and playing with all the colors that can represent snow in a painting.
